  1. FRUIT JUICE DRINKS

By Definition, a Fruit drink is a manufactured beverage intended for direct human consumption which contains fruit juice, fruit pulp or other edible parts of the fruits. It may be made from a single (single strength fruit juice) or a mixture of two or more fruits. It may be sweetened with nutritive and/ or non-nutritive (intense) sweeteners with or without added carbon dioxide and other permitted food additives. These beverages may be clear, cloudy, or may contain particulate matter (for example, fruit pieces, crushed pips, seeds and/or peel of the fruit).

  1. Mixed Fruit Drink

A blended fruit drink is any fruit drink obtained by mixing two or more fruit juice, pulp and/or purées from different kinds of fruit.

At UFOTEC, We guide you on what fruits can be combined to come out with a highly nutritious & competitive mixed fruit drink.

  1. FRUIT PULP

This is unfermented pulpy fruit juice product obtained by finely comminuting and sieving only the edible portion of fruit or the fruit as a whole after removal of the rind and seeds or pits or pips, and preserved in a permitted manner.

At UFOTEC, we train you how to extract and preserve pulp without adding preservatives & storing this product at room temperature.

  1. Flavoured Drinks

These are concentrated or ready-to-drink products prepared from water, sweetening agents, natural, nature identical or permitted artificial fruit flavourings, permitted colourings and other optional permitted ingredients.  These are locally traded as “Sodas”, flavoured drinks, or energy drinks.

At UFOTEC, We train you on formulation of such products, using very competitive recipes taking into consideration of the target market.

  1. KOMBUCHA DRINK

This is a fermented beverage made from sugar, malt or malt substitutes, tea, coffee and other ingredients with a symbiotic culture of yeast and bacteria.

Kombucha drink industry is one of the fastest growing industries in Uganda and neighboring countries. This is attributed to an increase in healthy conscious consumers.

At UFOTEC, We train you on formulation of kombucha drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic using very competitive recipes taking into consideration of the target market
